In The Movies

We love some movies because they reflect our desire to develop ourselves as spiritual knights and Mystic Knighthoods. Many movies, especially science fiction, hold mystic representations of our inner Mystic Knighthood. These symbols will be explained here. It is a good recommendation to re-watch these movies while keeping in mind the symbols meaning of the movie. It will help you get in touch with this profound aspect of yourself.

The Last Samurai

The first movie i wish to present here is not a science fiction at all. It is a beautiful representation of the transformation of the animal self into a Mystic Knighthood, pure, virtuous, radiating with power. It is the story of a depressed and delusional fighter that reconnects himself to his higher spiritual self when he discovers meditation in a peaceful environment, and starts training in the art of the samurai.

The Matrix

The Matrix trilogy is a masterpiece of awakening. It is a clear and obvious story about how we seem to know reality when in fact, it is an illusion. It is a pictorial battle about getting ourselves out of the illusion, into the clear perception of the Spirit. It reinforces out goal for good, justice, and truth.

Star Wars, vol 1 to 6

Of course, probably the greatest stimulant for this new uprise in the Knighthood and spiritual warriors, is the Star Wars movie series. We will not explain them, since they clearly explain themselves. Here are the links to purchase them.
 

Underworld

In these movies, the werewolves represents the animal passions, having trouble to hold themselves together. The vampires represent the cold rational mind. This is the perfect metaphor of the animal passion joining with the usual sterile cold mind, in a quest for a balanced existence, a quest for inner peace.

In the second movie, the mind (vampire girl) will taste the pure essence of the spirit (Corvinus) and become imbued with the ability to see the light.
