Contemplations

Awake and aware, I search my soul and lay it bare.
On my path there are obstacles over which I might tumble.
But through human frailty, with human capability, I rise in courage rare.
In my search I may falter and stumble, but through it all I remain humble.
Through valley and over peak I travel, sheathed in the cloak of humility I wear.

To survive the falls and to reach the heights, I strive each day to increase my might.
I train my body; I discipline my mind, in hopes of courage and strength to find.
I discipline my body and train my mind and each day I work to do what’s right.
Each day I open my heart and offer myself in service to all mankind.
For I have the strength of body and mind and the courage of heart to carry on the fight.

Centered in humility, on the strength of my convictions I stand tall.
For those less fortunate and those oppressed, I take my stand.
Though the fight is hard and the fight long and in the end I might fall.
For those without and those in need, I toe the line and lend a hand.
I’ll take my stand; I’ll take the fall, because I believe in liberty and justice for all.

I have the tools at hand to live life in such a fashion.
I have the will to talk the talk and walk the walk in the company of light.
I aim to live a life of impeccability with a warrior’s strength and passion.
To weather any storm and shine my light like a beacon through the night.
My gift to my fellow man is understanding and compassion.

Aware and awake, my soul is turned towards the light.
Striving and questing for the truth that lies at the crowned heart’s core.
I will give of body, mind, and heart, in service right.
I know that something greater than self is guiding me to that distant shore.
Humility, Strength, Justice, and Compassion, are the arms and armor of the Mystic Knight.

As I walk the path in my humble ways,
There’s strength in each decision and step that I take,
For justice is my shield and great is my faith,
That compassion is my companion day by day.

Humility is called forth to light the mind,
Strong is the will for obstacles to be overcomed,
Being just is more than a quality for it’s the sign,
That a compassionated heart within me you will find.

Humility, Strength, Justice, Compassion is the start,
Are all qualities and more for the Truth is our light,
These are my vows just as my sword is as sharp,
For I Am a Mystic Knight of the Crowned Heart!

…it was dark.
I was a man, just a little ordinary man.

Heavy clouds upon the earth, there was rain, there was snow.
I was frightened, I was lonely, I was lost.
I dropped down on my knees…
I bound my fingers together and, with all my will left, deep from my heart, I prayed:

Lord the Sun, Lord the Great Spirit, please, bring me light, give me life…
A lightning…a thunder hit me.
But not shock, not pain… just a current of love… and a dream?
I was a blazing tiger now, how strong and fierce,
I was roaring, I was hunting full of life,
I was playing full of joy.

And then I became an eagle,
flying up and down in the sky…
how free… no bonds, no chains…
A ladder appeared in front of me… A rainbow… pointing up to the sun…
I crossed the colored steps, I reached the sun… I became the LIGHT

Through these rules, I have become a new.
I have learn to trust my self.
I have shrived to develop my virtues.
I fought something within myself,
to develop my courage.
I learned to be more accepting and approach life in the fullest.
Almost as if I've grown wings, and learned to fly.
