People will come and some will stay and some will leave. This is normal. Before you take a student, take some time to study them and to let them study you. If they possess the correct spirit for the wisdom then teach them slowly. When the time comes for you to teach them something new, they will ask a certain question or you will feel a certain cue. Don't be in a rush to teach things or you may teach too much too fast.
I have a great teacher who once told me that a student should approach a system like a slice of pizza. You take a bite and taste it. You chew it up slowly and enjoy it. You swallow it only when it has been chewed well. Once this is done you take another bite and start all over again.
The other way to do it is to jam the slice in your mouth and chew as much as you can. You swallow the slice and you will probably get heartburn or maybe even throw it back up.
~Take your time and enjoy teaching at a natural pace, always looking for the cues. Find students who will take little bites and chew them up well before they start looking at the rest of the pizza. There is plenty of time for the rest of the pizza later.
